Bench is part of a triptych of objects exploring the capabilities of sheet aluminum. The bench combines rolled, and bent aluminum forms together as a means of creating a structure with rigidity. Where Shelf and Hook are able to support static loads, Bench was a challenge in figuring out how to take the same design principles from before and apply it to support the kinetic load of a human.
