“This book is a tender homage to the people who have granted me with the profound privilege of capturing their likeness through my lens. I am endlessly grateful for every shared moment of vulnerability, exchange of ideas, and the warmth of connection I have experienced throughout my practice. The essence of community is central to our livelihood; our existence, liberation, and collective journey is all interconnected. As we navigate the intersections of our lives, we find solidarity in our shared resilience, forging pathways towards a world that embraces diversity, honours complexity, and stands in pursuit of empowerment for all.when i think of you, i think of us — this book is for us. ”
