Story of My Friend

One of my friends from China, during their stay in Canada, had a frightful paranormal encounter, late one night. She lay half-awake in her bed, when she saw a black hand (with no body!) crawl up the stairs to the doorway leading to her room. She froze, unable to move, as she saw the disembodied hand shuffle towards her bed. She shut her eyes tight and hid under her blanket, hoping to sleep soon. The next day as she awoke, there was no creepy hand, so she thought it must have been a nightmare. But, that same day, she was swindled out of 30,000 RMB (equivalent to $4,250). She shared with me how she believed that the black hand was foreshadowing this unfortunate loss.
