Tarp is returned to the site it was found during temporary public installation April 2019.

“The park across the street from my house had been under construction since I moved. When it became too cold to continue the work they wrapped all the play structures in plastic tarping. I walked past the park every night on my way home from work enamored by the huge strange shapes with translucent skin. They were amniotic. My mum says playgrounds should be made well enough to handle the winter when I tell her over the phone what I did. The plastic protected the playground while suffocating it- creating new general forms and redacting specific ones. Excess material in clothing signifies wealth yet creates heaviness and immobility. The character of a dress speaks through its cut and fabric about the means and social position of the wearer yet it is dependent on the body to give it form which it cannot hold. ”
