The title “Once Upon Astronaut” has three meanings. Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon, a significant step in the history of human science. As it says, the earth will one day be destroyed by modern civilization. Secondly, People in the future will look back and remember that this blue planet was once their home. At the time, people yearned for outer space, and now they are living in outer space forever. Finally, when people talk about "once upon" or "astronaut ", there are always poetic elements that come to mind, these elements and blue images turn the work into a tool of communication. They not only are poetic but also critical. The human actions that are destroying their own homeland. The “homelands” represented by the four images are not necessarily achievable, even some have science fiction elements. The topic I want to explore in this work is society, politics, and ethics.Maybe someday science can help people continue their lives, help humans find a second home, another planet, or go to the sea. But when come to the continuation of war, environment, science, etc., we need to be more vigilant.
