1968– is a book that shows time passage through the process of ageing and experiencing life. I decided to do that by collecting photographs of my father from the day he was born till today. With each photograph, I added some information about him and the photograph- the location it was taken at, his age at the time, and the date. I used a tree trunk to mark my father’s age, adding a little contrast- timeline of a tree vs. timeline of a human. Due to COVID-19, I could not continue my search for a tree trunk that had fifty-two rings or more. The picture I used was taken by Joel & Jamin Forestbird on Unsplash.
