“This artwork was specifically designed to be printed on a shirt and took a lot of careful consideration; I wanted to make sure that it has a graphic element to it while showcasing the whimsy of both the character and the world she inhabits, while also keeping it as a free floating image. The solution came from the interior decorations of old Russian manors in a form of repetitive diamond shaped ornaments, and stylized floral patterns that were often painted up the curved walls onto the sealing.”
