01 For Jurying Consideration

Unsaying Words presents fear, anger and oppression on political and social levels that have affected my personal life and future. It is a series of individual artworks inspired by memories of lived experience: a personal narrative about my childhood, teenage years and a broken marriage. Each explores the complexities of memories through mark-making, layering, editing, and excavating language.
