01 For Jurying Consideration

My work portrays the mental and emotional landscape of those grappling with chronic illness. By incorporating syringes from my weekly injections as tools in the artistic process, I seek to convey the inextricability of chronic illness from the creative process that it engenders. My work thus envisions art as the innate universal language that transcends linguistic and geographical divides.
