01 For Jurying Consideration

My work negotiates between two worlds: the one I came from and the one I’m still learning to belong to. Merging Persian miniature with Western painting, I explore the tension of diaspora. Detailed miniatures embody stillness; gestural wall markings are raw and immediate. The wall holds my physical presence. Seen from different distances, the work shifts, revealing layers gradually, much like identity itself.
