Painting
From the Inside
I sit inside OCAD. The world around me feels chaotic at times, but I remain in my own space. I am kept within but I chose to make peace in my world.
Painting
In My Room
This is the view from the backyard of the place I’ve lived at during the pandemic. While the world was happening around me, I found myself creating comfort in the four walls of my bedroom with my coloured lights. A safe place.
Painting
Looking at the Outside
I look out from within. Longing for the outside yet I have grown to feel safe behind a window.
Painting
My Space
The perspective from within my bedroom. The room is lit by my coloured lamp that brings me warmth and comfort. The world outside my bedroom brings fear and uncertainty.
Painting
To and From
I travel back and forth between school and home. I stand on the far end of the tunnel. I am alone but comfortable in my bubble.
