There Is No Perfect Moment: Fragmented Memory and Life Between Korea and Canada

This body of work combines painting, photo collage, and paper weaving to create fragmented compositions. Rooted in my experience of living between Korea and Canada, it explores the fluidity of identity and the coexistence of contrasting emotions. By layering images, the work challenges the idea of a “perfect” moment, suggesting that life is formed through overlapping memories, contradictions, and continuous change.
