“Cake Rules! Is a 2 minute 30 second 3D animated short film about a young girl wanting to eat cake no matter the cost. The film’s plot centers around a crafty demon who lures the girl into another dimension where she has to make a decision to stay or go back home. Concepts of danger and consequences don’t seem to phase the young girl as she stands in awe of the otherworld. Soon she is presented with two cupcakes: one red and one blue. Now faced with a dilemma will she choose to eat the red cake for infinite cake, but stay in the otherworld as a demon forever? or eat the blue cake, which will send her straight home without a crumb?The themes present in my film focuses on the naivety of children and how they don't make good decisions even when faced with consequences. The film serves as a reminder that decisions come with consequences. ”
