“Jewellery is a medium to convey happiness and joy to people.I aim to make my thesis work that emphasizes wearing and interacting with people to a certain extent, reflecting the communication between people and jewellery while inviting them to participate in the interaction. ”
Ziyi Wang is a jewellery artist with a focus on Material Art and Design. Her design usually based on the concept of nature and human culture. Ziyi focuses on combining new materials from different fields in her works, such as using plastic, clay, textiles, plastics, paper and even throwaway pieces. Her method of design and production is to explore a variety of manufacturing processes and use any materials that can be seen or used in daily life as the media of art jewellery creation and expression.
