“Ashley Waithe is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist, writer and curator whose work resonates deeply with themes of nostalgia, childhood, and the exploration of Black and Afro-Caribbean identity. Through a dynamic and multidisciplinary approach, she navigates the intricacies of memory, culture, and personal history, presenting them in ways that are intimate and relatable. Her artistry spans a variety of mediums, including visual arts, writing, and curatorial projects, each chosen deliberately to best express the layers of her themes and explorations.”

Ashley Waithe (b. 2001) is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer and curator based in Toronto.Ashley holds a BFA in Criticism & Curatorial Practice with a Minor in English from OCAD University.
