(Call All Witches!) depicts the ways in which brujería practices can help LGBTQ+ members find themselves through chosen family and community.This thesis portfolio project explores the beauty, tenderness, and support LGBTQ+ individuals can experience when interacting with their chosen family and community, visualized through elements and motifs in Afro-Latinamerican faiths and religions, to showcase the healing power of secure family attachments. Many LGBTQ+ people face the harsh reality of choosing between being true to themselves or being ostracized by their blood relatives; “OMNES, BRUJX!'' is a message of hope, reassuring LGBTQ+ individuals they are not bound to be alone because we will always have each other.”
