In Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang represent the law of polar unity and eternal change, and are considered to be the basic elements of the composition of the universe. Throughout history, the social culture and behavior of the Chinese people have been profoundly influenced by the philosophy of Yin and Yang. At the same time, Chinese calligraphy has been handed down as an artistic tradition for thousands of years, and has become one of the ways to express the Chinese people's understanding of the concept of Yin and Yang from ancient times to the present. The philosophy of Yin and Yang and the practice of Chinese calligraphy profoundly influences me. I have created a jewellery series that depicts the three phases of the relationship between Yin and Yang, combining this philosophical concept with the elements of strokes in Chinese calligraphy to present a unique cultural aesthetic.
