I believe that one of my key roles as a designer is to create meaningful design solutions; I rely on a holistic approach using a variety of aspects and elements beyond overall aesthetics to produce a meaningful design solution. In addition, I have always been interested in the effect that environmental design has on human psychological health and well-being. My interest in the effect that the intersection of environmental design with health and well-being can create is what led the direction of my thesis project towards designing a meditation and healing centre which focuses on bridging nature and health together.
