Sculpture & Metalsmithing
“My practice is grounded in memory, materiality, and community. I am re-thinking my relations with these lands, a settler walking between the rows of craft knowledge, based in European traditions of design and making, and of Indigenous ways of knowing that are rooted in this place.”
Mary K. McIntyre is a Toronto-based metalsmith and sculptor whose work is inspired by the forms and textures of the industrial landscape and the natural world. She received a BFA from OCAD University in 2017, and graduated in 2022 from OCADU's graduate program in Interdisciplinary Art Media and Design. Her work is held at the Art Gallery of Guelph, and in private collections in Canada and the United States.
