Design for Health
“3 words: curious, honest, mistake-maker. As a designer I am motivated by gaining and sharing knowledge, exploring emotional experiences, and approaching perceived failures as opportunities to learn, innovate, and transform. I strive to implement empathetic and transdisciplinary design thinking in all areas of my research and creations. ”
I have always been drawn to design because of its ability to spark emotions, expose authentic feelings and stir up distinct memories. Studying Environmental Design and Design for Health at OCAD U has influenced my capabilities of thinking critically, creatively, and holistically. I am curious about environmental influences on cognition to better understand and improve the quality of our lived experiences, and passionate about exploring the instinctive, behavioural, and reflective impacts of affective storytelling.
