““Hazy Recollections” is a series of illustrations depicting bittersweet and awkward moments a person may experience while intoxicated. The artist uses a dreamy and fantastical approach to explore the themes of drinking and memories, drawing inspiration from her own family stories and reflections on growing up. ”
Liz Tiantian Liu is a Toronto-based illustrator with a passion for both analogue and digital art. Her work spans illustration, comics, printmaking, and concept art. Liz's artistic style features soft colour pencil hatching, creating story-rich and poetic illustrations.
