Blair Immink is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary “painter”. Blair studied his undergrad at OCAD U in the Drawing & Painting program and graduated in May 2020. Blair uses found objects, which range from; textiles, ceramics, ‘garbage,’ urban findings, etc. to compose a visual literacy. Within this literacy, Blair uses collage and assemblage methodologies to construct different artworks such as painting-installations, clothing, collages, and much more. Practicing using found objects and material, Blair proposes ways of enhancing the every day and choosing joy.
