'Abstract Painting' Displayed on 'More is More' Collage Series

'Abstract Painting' is ironically a soft sculpture. Based on an abstract painting, I wanted to make a phony replica that you are actually allowed to touch! Art galleries have weird energy sometimes, they're so captivating but there's a restriction on the fun! I try to transcend the serious and make it playful, and more accessible to who we really are as people. (children on the inside). The 'More is More' collage series is a different path but similar ideas. Maximizing is a huge part of my practice and, I will maximize images to create an overstimulating experience. An experience that is fun to look at and also repulsive if immersed too long.
