Gabrielle
Schwartz

“Saccharine Living Things illustrates whimsical creatures pursuing a lifestyle among humans. This thesis describes their imagined range of contributions and their clashing residence in mundane situations.”
Gabrielle Lynn Schwartz is an illustrator based in Burlington, Ontario. She graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design University with a BDES in Illustration and was awarded the illustration program medal for her thesis “Saccharine Living Things” in spring 2023. Her mediums of choice are dip pen and ink, alcohol markers, acryla gouache, and Adobe CC softwares. She enjoys bringing to life whimsical characters, designing stickers & posters, and trying a wide range of colour palettes. Her works are often influenced by her interests including: watching thriller b-movies, reading comics, and drinking coffee.
