“My work is a window where you can see my unconscious world through capturing time of fleeting moment within 2 Dimensional pieces.I explore various media such as painting with classical materials, digital illustration, animation, and video work. Interesting item inspires me all the time. I apply my styles to the different area combining realistic subject matter and minimalistic expression around surrealistic theme.”
Seyeon Park is a Toronto-based 2D animator and illustrator from South Korea. She is graduating from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Her works explore various materials from classical paintings to video, 2D animation, relying on non-dialogue narratives and visual languages. Her current practice focuses on the representation of humans’ insight such as emotion, instinct desire, and unconscious area. She combines surrealistic and abstract art style portraying herself, or other figures or other figures in space where time converges to zero.
