Nestor is a modern calligraphy artist from Kiev who’s currently based in Toronto.His way started back in 2012 with street art and exploration of letterforms. This hobby created a path for the artist into the OCAD University where he studied Graphic Design. Using collected knowledge, his focus shifted from the traditional image of a designer to more of an artistic perspective.Since 2020, Nestor is a great supporter of Calligrafuturism movement which was created by Russian artist, Pokras Lampas. Its main idea is to fuse various cultures from all over the world into the new, futuristic calligraphy culture. Almost like a prediction for what might happen to calligraphy movement in the future. The idea of making random cultures work together as a unified force is what resonates with the artist the most.
