Cassidy Hopkins is currently completing her Bachelors in Printmaking and Publications with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, Ontario. She was born in Owen Sound, Ontario which is apart of the Grey Bruce County. Her primary focus is in lithography, creating works generalized around the landscapes of the Bruce Peninsula and surrounding areas. As a recipient of the Ed Bartram Memorial Printmaking Bursary Cassidy hopes to expand on her mark making capabilities within her prints as Bartram accomplished throughout his career working with similar notions. In the future Cassidy hopes to continue expanding her learnings in the field of print and lithography while working towards showcasing work in local spaces of Northern Ontario following graduation from OCAD U.
