Meet the Artist

Ash

Randall-colalillo

aka. ARC, Interdisciplinary

“As artist’s, it is important to ask about the significance of one’s self in space, time, as well as how we move within the space we possess in our bodies. What value do we place on our interactions with transitional relationships of our external and internal worlds? I started to reflect on the perceptions of how we function in our life, existing within this constant in-betweens...and how much we account for.

Ash Randall-colalillo (She/They) is a queer emerging interdisciplinary artist based in Tkaronto/Toronto, Ontario currently studying at OCAD University. Ash also is a member of Mudcat Collective, an artist collective established in 2020 with OCADU alumni. The material practices of their work are always reflected upon the intentions of what the work wants to/could express. Ash's work acts as a window to invite viewers to look out into a new perspective of space that exists around us as well as within us. It represents a study of the self that reflects a transitional relationship of universal experience.
