“I think there is something beautiful worth noticing in the most overlooked things around us. Everything is worth documenting and remembering in its own way, and photography offers the perfect medium to do so.”
Brynn Murphy is a Toronto-based photographer, from Woodstock, Ontario. Working with both digital and analog photography, her art is primarily based on archiving and mapping places and objects, with a particular focus on rural and urban decay in southwestern Ontario. She aims to evoke a sense of beauty and interest in the mundane, as well as to document the rapidly changing Ontario landscape throughout growing urbanization.
