“Pee Time is a 1 min 15 second CG short film centered around Chad's nightly escapades to the washroom. The animation offers a unique perspective by portraying children's challenges in their daily struggles through Chad's eyes. What adults may perceive as a simple walk down the hallway becomes a daunting tunnel of shadows with lurking creatures threatening to stop Chad from reaching his goal. Throughout his journey, Chad must engage in combat against shadowy monsters that seek to thwart his mission. Chad's previous experiences help him prepare for this moment despite the possibility of failure. He uses his determination and persistence to overcome his fears and triumph over his challenges. At the end of the film, Chad reaches the washroom, standing triumphantly before his porcelain throne. The moment is a testament to Chad's growth as he overcomes his obstacles, showing that children can learn to face their fears and challenges with bravery. The animated short offers a subtle moral lesson that inspires children and adults. It highlights the importance of determination and persistence when facing challenges, showing that failures are part of the journey and anyone can overcome their fears and achieve their goals with resilience and perseverance. Overall, Pee Time is an inspiring and relatable piece that shows how children can find their strength and courage, even in the face of the unknown.”
