“She is a poet and maker whose work explores themes of faith, girlhood, and intersectionality.”

During her studies at OCAD University, she began exploring material representation through glass, metal, wood, sculpture, painting, and more. Each of these processes granted her access into a new mode of expression—one not only grounded in its material qualities but also offering infinite possibilities when used in combination. It was this dynamism that called her to collage: the ability to cut apart, smash, reassemble, and freely use materials without restraint. In addition to her visual art, she writes poetry and prose shaped by her faith, family, and the layered textures of language and belonging. She spoke at OCADU's CADN Graduate Studies Conference, The F-Word: Fun, Agency, and Creativity as a Life Ethic (2024). She performed and emceed at TIFA's Student Literary Cabaret (2023). As well as exhibited on many other stages including Talk Party's EHALAKASA in Accra, Ghana (2023); Alice Yard's Defying the Margins in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (2023); and Allan Garden's People, Power, & the Park in her home city of Toronto, Canada (2022).
