Shanwei Fu is an artist, curator, poet and autodidactic based in Downtown Toronto.He learned music at Mohawk College and art at Sheridan College. Currently, he is in the fourth year of Criticism and Curatorial Practice program at OCAD U. His recent works balance academic and creative writing, focusing on one’s existence with private sentiments under multiple urban issues. Urban life as a background, he studies the interaction among humans, nature and technology in a posthuman context; the connection between particular sites and private sentiments; experiences, memories, and interpersonal relationships within the ontology.
