Tania

Costa

Drawing and Painting

“My work records moments driven by traditional Catholic and patriarchal thought processes, capturing the female figures in moments of vulnerability and solitude. With a slight emphasis on pattern repetition and strong colour use, the work depicts the weight of tradition, identity, and emotion on the female form. ”
