“My artistic practice explores the complexities of living as a woman in contemporary society, focusing on personal experiences and evolving understandings of femininity. Central to my work is the act of connection—sharing stories, emotions, and perspectives with other women in ways that foster empowerment, solidarity, and reflection. I am deeply interested in creating pieces that resonate with viewers, particularly women, inviting them to see aspects of their own journeys reflected in my work.Drawing from both lived experience and introspection, I engage with questions around what femininity and feminism mean today—not only from my perspective, but through ongoing efforts to understand the diverse realities and voices of women around me. My studio practice is rooted in autobiographical elements and influenced by the world I move through, offering a lens into the desires, challenges, and inner lives of women.Symbolism plays a key role in my work; I often incorporate imagery from daydreams and imagined worlds to represent emotional states and inner dialogues. These elements serve as visual metaphors, allowing me to explore themes such as vulnerability, strength, identity, and transformation in a way that is both intimate and universal.
