“We are living in the age of bubbles, clusters of information, culture and ethics. We have become invisible to each other and those barriers are often insurmountable and dangerously perishable. The manipulation of truth is a weapon of domination and collective exploitation that has coercively supporting ideological interests of the power with clear, objective, and structured approaches.”
Helio Eudoro is a Brazilian-Canadian artist based in Toronto. 2020 RBC Newcomer Arts Award recipient. Toronto Arts Council committee member 2021. Through his interdisciplinary practice, he investigates the layers of visibility that cross dimensions such as gender, sexuality, the body, income, diaspora, age, and forms of social and cultural exclusion. Eudoro is recipient of several awards and grants, has appeared in major Brazilian art exhibition and his artworks are in the collections of renowned museums in Brazil.
