hannah (she/her) is a queer writer based in montreal and toronto. hannah loves writing fictional stories that remind her of the people she cares about the most and the ways they have taught her to see the world. her style includes using simplistic language and structure in conjunction with a lot of "telling" to create stories that feel incredibly close to her characters while also leaving room for their self-doubt and their own limited scopes in life to drive the narrative. hannah has forever been a lover of ya books and story-telling that never dares to dive much deeper than what is offered on the page. she insists that it's the simplest novels that have shaped her into the person she is today. this heavily impacts her style of writing and the stories she chooses to place emphasis on. she believes strongly in writing stories that center Black girls just going through the everyday motions and emotions of life and giving those characters an insane amount of emotional expression
