“My artistic practice centres on documentary photography and portraiture with a strong belief that photography is a way to preserve fleeting moments and to remember the things that often go unnoticed in daily life. Often experimenting with various film stocks due to the tactile, un-intentional nature of it. When photographing, it comes down to being ready for a moment when it presents itself. But there is also a lot of thought that goes into making sure that the images being created speak to something larger than just the subject in front of the camera lens. With hopes that the work will invite you to see the world from someone else’s perspective, the ultimate goal is to not only create compelling individual images but to build cohesive bodies of work that can be exhibited and published into photo books.”
