aka. Coco, Jewellery

“This work reflects a deep connection to my hometown, Suzhou, and my identity. Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou is known as a masterpiece of Chinese garden art. It also represents the rich humanistic and historical traditions of the Jiangnan region. Each piece of jewellery is inspired by the beauty of the garden, characterized by elements such as buildings, water, stones, flowers, and trees. Through my work, I aim to evoke the beauty and memories of my hometown. I have also included kittens in some pieces to guide viewers through my memories. Having spent one-third of my life abroad and being exposed to different cultures, these works represent my culture and demonstrate that even in a foreign country, I am still able to feel the warmth of home through my art.”

Hey everyone, I'm Keying Zhu, but you can call me Coco, a Chinese jewellery designer based in Toronto. I'm all about infusing colors and creativity into my designs to craft pieces. For me, each piece tells its own special story and evokes a whole range of emotions. I thrive on breaking the mold and playing with color combos to create something truly one-of-a-kind.
