“Raquels work is an exploration of how 2 and 3-dimensional forms and shapes can work together to create an environment. Her work explores different methods of storytelling in order to develop an understanding of how both material and sociocultural elements can serve as storytelling mediums. ”

Raquel Da Silva is a Toronto based artist and designer, working primarily in painting and sculptural objects. She received her BFA in Painting and Furniture Design at OCADU and has collaborated with clients such as Nike, Adidas Original, and Reebok. Raquel has completed a one year studio residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto.
