Jassira De Almeida is an Angolan Canadian multidisciplinary artist. She completed her undergrad at OCAD U for the DPXA/EXAN program. She combines analog and digital techniques in her work. As a painter she creates representations of herself and what inspires her: nature, pop culture, and music. As a stop-motion animator she uses the materials she finds to make fun and thoughtful stories.
