“My work covers a wide variety of different themes but mainly those that revolve around family, love, friendship as well as my Colombian Nationality, I try to incorporate aspects of cultural traditions, foods, fashion and so on in every piece that I make, I think its important for me as a Colombian citizen living in Canada that I keep in touch with my roots. Occasionally I will get home sick and creating art that reflects my culture makes my heart fill up with joy. I also believe that it's important to teach others about Colombia, show how each aspect of the country is beautiful and push away negative stereotypes placed on the country. A lot of my work is also catered towards all ages, as someone who's passion is also creating children's books my hope is that everyone can enjoy my art equally and the same time understanding the message that is being explained throughout the illustration. My hope is that my illustrations are able to spread kindness, love, and the initiative to help others, and by having a very childlike and youthful art style I hope that my goal is able to be accomplished. ”
