Aidan Somerville is a Canadian Illustrator specializing in character design, visual storytelling, and sequential art. His work embraces dark fantasy / horror themes, and he aspires to follow in the footsteps of successful illustrators such as Adam Duff and Ahmed Aldoori, online artists who informed his work from a very young age.Inspired by works like Calvin and Hobbes, 10-year-old Aidan originally hoped to become a newspaper cartoonist, unfortunately he was forced to accept pretty quickly that that was a terrible plan, so he shifted to more realistic drawing and pursued a career in freelance illustration. When Aidan is not hunched over his drawing tablet you can usually find him hunched over his computer playing videogames instead or taking a long walk along Lake Ontario.
