Rafiah Hashmi is a Pakistani Muslim animator and soon-to-be graduate from OCADU's Experimental Animation program. Specializing in 2D animation, Rafiah enjoys exploring both the lighthearted and the profound, bringing chaotic, silly stories to life alongside more thoughtful, introspective narratives. Whether crafting a wild adventure or a deeply emotional journey, she aims to create animation that feels both engaging and meaningful. Outside of animation, Rafiah is an avid reader, always inspired by the stories and ideas that shape her work. She brings this love of storytelling into every project, balancing fun with depth in ways that resonate with all audiences.
