Laleh is an emerging artist who lives and creates in Tkaronto/ Toronto, Ontario. Her life has always been associated with war, social upheaval, and protests. Her works are rooted in her background and life experience. Immigrating to Canada allowed her to follow her dream of being an artist. She pursued her dream by studying Fine Art at Centennial College and was later accepted into OCAD University in the Drawing and Painting program. Through her academic study, she found the freedom to experiment and explore her ideas fully. She has expanded her visual communication skills to create more effective and convincing imagery. As a result, she invests much more of herself in her artwork. She is enjoying the challenge of exploring her ideas, media, and techniques.
