Gordon Kong is a Toronto based storyboard artist and animator. He will be graduating with a BFA from the Drawing and Painting: Digital Painting & Expanded Animation program at OCAD University. Through a world-building approach, he explores different ways of narrative by storyboarding. His drawing style is naturalistic and detailed, allowing him to examine connotative subtleties and rhythmic continuity in a story. His most recent graphic novel Journey to the East utilizes an “unwittingly progressive” narrative style to create a meditative and peaceful reading experience.
