“LOOK BACK — on the pieces of yourself left in other people, on the love you lost but still feel. A queer YA retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice, LOOK BACK explores the second chance between Benny and Nikko as they find their way out of the In-Between together, all the while unpacking what drove them apart in the first place and the things they've learned in each other's absence.”

Anna Yang (she/they) is an interdisciplinary writer who specializes in poetry and prose. Loss of youth, adolescent ghosts, and queer angst are themes that perpetually haunt her work, focusing on the love that suffocates and saves, the bonds that keep you tethered, and the roots that burgeon between cracked concrete, present and persistent despite it all. Recently, Anna has begun to explore mediations between text and image through comics, graphic design, and printmaking. When she's not hunched over her laptop, you can find her on the streets of Toronto, Ontario waxing poetic for adults who still feel seventeen and petitioning for the general public to bring back yearning.
