Cristina Monaco is an Industrial Designer specializing in user-centered product development, with a focus on creating meaningful and emotionally resonant experiences. She combines research, prototyping, and advanced CAD skills with a thoughtful approach to form and usability, aiming to design objects that go beyond function to support comfort, presence, and connection.With experience spanning product development, user experience research, and full-scale prototyping, Monaco has worked across energy systems and consumer products. Her work includes the design and fabrication of an autonomous EV charging solution showcased at the Canadian International AutoShow, where she contributed to leading concept development through to a full-scale build under tight timelines.Monaco brings a global perspective shaped by her upbringing in Florence, Italy, and her studies in Toronto, with experience in cross-cultural research and collaborative design environments. She is particularly interested in designing products that enhance everyday life through intentional interaction, emotional awareness, and a strong sense of material and form.
