Ashlyn Chilson is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario and she is graduating from OCAD University this Spring 2020. She is a 2D digital frame-by-frame animator, digital painter, and character designer who also dabbles in graphic design and is passionate about giving narrative life through the art of animation. She explores themes of home, personal struggles, and emotion with a vibrant and animated colour palette, usually in the form of animated shorts and gifs.Ashlyn currently exhibits her final works only online, although she hopes to exhibit her works at other shows and festivals in the future. She plans to find a job within the industry as an animator, concept artist, or studio-environmentalist. Ashlyn will continue to build her portfolio with personal projects, such as animated shorts.
