“At Home, visually explore the impact that emotion has on our perception of physical space. Conceptually, I want to delve into the emotional variances of loneliness, as it is a feeling which is often oppositional or antagonizing to our surroundings. I used both common understandings of home and the canonized interpretations of haunted houses in literature and media as a reference point. Each illustration sought to oppose, distort, or disrupt these common notions. In simplest terms, this illustrated book explores how emotion (loneliness) changes space (home).”
