Kaitlyn Lam is an Experimental Animation student at OCAD University. She is a Chinese-Canadian illustrator and animator based in Toronto, Ontario. Kaitlyn loves to illustrate and design unique characters and tell their stories. She primarily draws using Procreate or Photoshop, and although her art is digital, her rendering style is often soft and painterly. She is focused on creating unique characters and telling their stories in various ways, using both static illustrations and dynamic animations. She currently enjoys creating narrative-focused stories. In her 4th year, she directed the short 2D animated group film "I See the Stars in Your Eyes (and They Scare Me)", a story about unwavering childhood dreams that refuse to be stopped. In the future, she hopes to continue telling the yet untold stories of characters in new, creative ways.
